JSOnline: Style changing for Bucks' Redd
Quote:
It's a matter of balance for Michael Redd and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Redd knows he is relied on to power the Bucks' offense, which has been out of sync this season. But the team's shooting guard and leading scorer also is trying to distribute the ball better and improve his rebounding totals.
Redd was in good form with 28 points, five assists and five rebounds in the Bucks' 114-105 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night at the Bradley Center.
But he clearly was frustrated after the Bucks were outscored by the Suns in the final quarter, 37-22, and fell to 16-26, a season-worst 10 games below the .500 mark.
Redd missed all three shots he attempted and scored two points in the fourth quarter, after getting 13 points on 6-for-7 shooting in the third quarter.
The Bucks were 4 for 16 from the field in the final quarter.
"I know that's my role on this team, as the franchise guy on this team," Redd said. "I don't understand.
"We were playing well and on a roll, and all of a sudden Phoenix comes back and it's a game. All I can do is be coachable and do what he (coach Larry Krystkowiak) decides.
"We let it get away, that's all I can say. Everyone was playing unselfishly. It was a tough game for us."

Redd said he didn't worry too much about the defensive strategies opposing teams use against him.
"No, I'm just playing," he said. "As you mature and you grow in this league, you kind of figure out on the fly if they're doubling, and you get rid of it.
"I haven't been trying to force it too much. This has been a different year; our offense hasn't been in rhythm all year long. I don't know; I can't put a finger on it. We have to continue working and figure it out."
