JSonline: Players feeling blues on offense

So are the fans!

Quote:
All season long, a board listing the National Basketball Association's standings has been posted in the corner of the Milwaukee Bucks' locker room.

But now, with the Bucks riding a three-game losing streak and falling in the Eastern Conference playoff race, center Andrew Bogut has an idea about what the Bucks can do with that standings board.

"We should just rip that board down," he said. "Just take it down and play basketball. We need a couple wins. Who cares about that (board)? We just want to go out and play basketball. If we can do that, maybe at the end of the day we'll look down at the end of the bench and we'll have a win."

The Bucks have an 18-30 record and are tied with Charlotte for 12th place in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks are only three games in the loss column behind New Jersey, which holds down the eighth spot, but Indiana, Chicago and Philadelphia are all ranked between the Bucks and Nets.

The Bucks are heading out on the road again this week for games Tuesday at Memphis and Wednesday at Dallas. Milwaukee is 5-22 on the road.

"Guys are frustrated with losing games," forward Desmond Mason said. "We don't want to lose games. For us to try and turn this back around and get on the right track, we have to stay together, regardless of what the situation is.

"I think there should be a sense of urgency. I can't speak for everybody else but I think there should be a sense of urgency every time we step on the floor and have some energy."
Time to get booster shot
