Yi takes another step in his development

New Orleans - Another feather was added to the cap of Milwaukee Bucks rookie Yi Jianlian Friday night.
Yi has already played on a variety of basketball stages across the globe over the course of his young and budding career, and there will undoubtedly be many more to come. But Friday, Yi participated in his first National Basketball Association all-star weekend and that pleased him greatly.
"This is a huge activity and it's a great honor as a rookie to be here," said Yi. "This is a lot bigger scale (than the Chinese all-star game), and it's nice that they have a rookie game to go with it. I'm really excited to a part of this weekend."
Yi had eight points and two rebounds Friday for the rookie team that was clobbered by the sophomores, 136-109, at New Orleans Arena in the Rookie Challenge game. Yi came off the bench and played 23 minutes. He made 3 of 8 shots and had one assist.

I didn't watch the game, I just don't get into most of the all-start stuff.
