More on Mp's injury

Quote:
While most of the attention over the last couple days has focused on the physical status of rookie forward Yi Jianlian, the Milwaukee Bucks also have an unsettled situation at the point guard position with which to deal.

Starting point guard Mo Williams has missed the last two games with what has been called an abdominal strain but after a doctor's visit on Thursday, the injury is now being termed pubic symphysitis.

Call it what you will, all Williams knows is that he has stomach pain and it's been bothering him for about a month.

"It's pretty sore," he said. "It doesn't affect me playing that much but it's afterwards . . . after the games, that's when it's really painful."

Yi, meanwhile, has been in Los Angeles getting his bothersome right wrist examined by doctors there. He was scheduled to fly back Saturday. The Bucks, who will play the Philadelphia 76ers at the Bradley Center today at noon, list Yi and Williams both as "day-to-day".

With Williams sidelined, Royal Ivey started at the point in Wednesday's 118-106 victory over Seattle and in Friday's 103-101 loss to Portland. The Bucks passed for a season-high 36 assists against Seattle and Milwaukee had plenty of offensive firepower against Portland only to lose when Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge sank a baseline jumper with 2.4 seconds remaining.

The Bucks had six players score in double figures against Portland.

"We had some balance," said coach Larry Krystkowiak. "We moved the ball pretty well and distributed. I thought everybody had opportunities to step up and for the most part we did that. The balance, that's what we've been looking for. We need to continue the next 20 games and make sure we've got everybody thinking they can step up."
More on Yi's situation, too, at Williams' injury still a sore spot.

Do you know when Mo will be back? Has he been cleared to play?

All they say is that it's day to day. He didn't go to Washington with the team though, so it's more than likely they figure he won't play for a few days at least.
