Bucks hoping talent blooms in summer league
How important is the Las Vegas league for coach Scott Skiles and the team?

It's very valuable," said Bucks general manager John Hammond. "There's a lot of things that have come and gone (in the NBA) but one thing that's been around a long time is summer leagues. First and foremost, your draft picks play in it and you can get a handle for them. Scott can introduce them to his system . . . offensive and defensive terminology. Also, we'll have guys like Joe Alexander and Luc Mbah a Moute play again."
Hammond said that guard Ramon Sessions, who averaged 12.4 points, 5.7 assists, and 27.5 minutes this season, would probably not be on the summer team.
"He had enough minutes this year that we wouldn't want him to play in summer league," said Hammond.
