There were reports during the weekend in the Spanish press that indicated Ilyasova had made up his mind to return to the Bucks, after spending the past two seasons playing for Regal FC Barcelona in Spain.

The 6-foot-9 Ilyasova is a restricted free agent. The Bucks earlier had extended him a qualifying offer worth about $1 million, allowing them to match any offers from other National Basketball Association teams.

Ilyasova could give the Bucks additional help at the power forward position, after their acquisition of 6-9 forward Amir Johnson in a three-team trade before the NBA draft.

Me too. It would do a lot to make up for CVs loss. It certainly is something to look forward to this year.
