Game thread, Bucks vs Raptors

Quote:
Teams: Bucks (16-23) vs. Toronto Raptors (21-21).

When: 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Where: Bradley Center.

Broadcasts: TV - FS Wisconsin. Radio - AM-620.

About the Raptors: Toronto will be playing the second game of a back-to-back set after losing in Cleveland Tuesday night. The Raptors have settled into a point guard rotation with Jarrett Jack in a starting role and Jose Calderon coming off the bench. The Raptors lead the East in scoring at 103.7 points a game (through 41 games).

PLAYER TO WATCH
CHRIS BOSH, Raptors

There is plenty of talk north of the border about Bosh being traded before the Feb. 18 deadline, with the Raptors knowing he could bolt as a free agent this summer. But it could be tough for Toronto to make a deal when the team seems to be getting serious about putting together a winning season. He ranks first in the NBA in double-doubles with 30.

Re: Game thread, Bucks vs Raptors

Stackhouse hit his 900th 3, Ridnour didn't play a lot of minutes but still had 11 crucial points, and Bogut had 27 points, 12 rebounds and fouled out. But Ersan came up big in those last 4 minutes of the game.

finally, a game they came back in and stayed ahead.

Re: Game thread, Bucks vs Raptors

Bogut needs to have more of these games...aside from the fouling out.

Ouch, I just noticed that Bosh had a statline of 44/12/4. 14 of 15 from the line.

There was a reason Bogut fouled out.

Quote:
The game marked the Milwaukee debut of veteran guard Jerry Stackhouse, who was signed Monday to help make up for the absence of injured star Michael Redd. Stackhouse played 18 minutes and finished with three points and five rebounds.

Milwaukee outscored Toronto, 32-22, in the third quarter to grab an 81-78 lead.

The Bucks got off to their customary slow start, hitting just three of their first 13 shots while Toronto took an early lead.

But the Bucks fought back behind seven points by Jennings to grab a 19-16 lead. Stackhouse entered the game with 4:12 remaining in the quarter and immediately got into the act by assisting on a Jennings three-pointer.
