ABOUT THE CAVALIERS: Cleveland was without Anderson Varejao for most of last season after he broke his right wrist against the Bucks in February. He returned Tuesday with a vengeance, grabbing a career-high 23 rebounds and adding nine points and nine assists in a win against Washington. The Cavaliers have the reigning rookie of the year in point guard Kyrie Irving and are teaming him with rookie Dion Waiters (No. 4 pick). Former Bucks and Wisconsin forward Jon Leuer made the team after signing in the summer.

Jennings came through with a big shot at the end, but they could have put it away a bit sooner.

2-0 to start the season is pretty good.

First time in seven years that we have started 7-0. Jennings was clutch last night and also had another 13 assist game. Looking real good as a distributor this year.
