Game 25, Bucks vs Celtics, Boston

Quote:
TEAMS: Bucks (13-11) vs. Boston Celtics (13-12).

WHEN: 6:30 p.m. Friday.

WHERE: TD Garden.

BROADCASTS: TV - FS Wisconsin. Radio - AM-620.

ABOUT THE CELTICS: Paul Pierce became the second-oldest Celtics player to score at least 40 points when he did it Wednesday against Cleveland, getting 40 in a 103-91 victory at TD Garden. Pierce accomplished the feat at age 35, while Larry Bird had 49 in a double-overtime game when he was 35. Boston coach Doc Rivers moved veteran Jason Collins into the starting lineup at center in the Cleveland game and was pleased with the results. "He just clogged the middle up," Rivers said. Collins had one point, two rebounds and six fouls but was given the game ball. The Celtics are waiting for guard Avery Bradley to return from injury in early January before making any roster changes. Boston went 0-3 on its latest trip while giving up 100 or more points to Houston, San Antonio and Chicago.

Re: Game 25, Bucks vs Celtics, Boston

I only heard part of the game on radio tonight, and it sounded like the Bucks were headed for a loss. Wow.

They overcame the bad free throw shooting!
