What if Min trades:

Kandi, Wally, Martin and 2 round pick

to

Bos for

Blount, Welsch or Davis and 1 round pick


It would bring a lot of young talent to Minnesota, Blount did a great job this season and Welsch is/will become a good role player. Davis would be nice instead of Welsch but I guess, that wouldn't happen - anyway.

The 1st round pick would give the Wolves the opportunity to acquire a young talented point guard as back up for Sam I Am if Troy leaves. When Troy decides to stay (I think he won't), we could use the pic for a SG/SF rookie as future backup for Spree.

What do you think, would this deal be possible (salary cap etc.) and if yes, should the management do that?

If Kris Humphries is still around at 15, this trade is a possibility. Blount can replace Kandi, Welsch can fll in for Wally, and Hump obviously would have a bright future as the local kid.

The problem is that it doesn't work salary wise. Wally makes 11 mil, while Kandi makes 5. The #15 is going to make about 2, and Welsch is still under contract, so that means we have to sign Blount to a 10 mil + deal. Not going happen.

Davis would be more feasible, but I wouldn't go near him under any circumstances...

Horrible for the Celtics!

We dont want Kandi or Wally. Kandi is a bust, overpaid and injuryprone! Wally is a good player but also injuryprone and has a horrible contract!

Furthermore, Blount wont resign for Boston. He wants out! Jiri is one of our best players and I wouldnt trade him straight up for Wally because he can play on both ends of the floor and makes peanuts in comparison to Szczerbiak! Ricky has also been doing well in Boston so we dont want to give him up for that! And to add a 1st round pick on top is just crazy.

The only guy from Minny that I am interested in is KG of course and maybe Ebi and Hassel, so there really is nothing to trade for.

They wouldn't trade KG, no way. He's a franchise player that the team has been looking for a long time.

I know they wouldnt trade KG, that is why I dont think there is much to trade for with Minny.

with davis and a 1st round pick it just might happen......ainge and mchale have been talking and the wolves have always been interested in davis.....we would take humpries because then we would need a big really bad
