Hey guys,
I don't really follow the Timberwolves all that much, but I was just reading through yesterday's box scores and saw that Woods started and played very well (18 pts, 7rbds). I assume that he won't stay in the starting lineup when Wally gets back from injury, but his development has to be a good sign for your team. I always thought that he was a huge steal for you in last year's draft. I really wanted the Raptors to get him somehow. But although he had a few decent moments last year, I don't think that he was really consistent.
I know it's only one game, but to be put in the starting lineup, he must have been doing something right. Do you know how he's been doing in the offseason and pre-season? Are you expecting good things from him this year?

There are many reasons why Loren is playing better ball. First he is not as hard on himself as he was in previous years, he is taking it slower. Second he is not playing center, he is playing the PF spot most of the time. Third it is his second year and player obviously improve, he runs the court really well, is athletic and can make some shots when needed, he has goten a little stronger in the offseason as well. But remember it was against Orlando and I'm sad to say they don't have a great post game, much less athletic 4's on the team, so that has a little to do with it as well. But overall Loren has more confidence this year and is just more comfortable, and I still don't know why he wasn't picked up before the 2nd round?

Teams were really scared of that back problem that scouts and so called insiders kept bringing up. But really I want this guy to play well. And if anyone sees him, somebody tell Mark Jackson to live up to his contract
