MIN/BOS?SEA Trade

i heard this on espn the other day. Wally and Kandi to the celtics, pierce to the sonics, and ray-ray to the wolves. In my wildest dreams i wouldn't believe it to be true. being a die-hard ray allen fan and still peeved the wolves traded him on draft day 96', i would love to see this trade happen. however i would think spree would have to be traded. ray ray or spree...i'll take ray any day.

Who really knows , but according to the Sid hartman column in the strib:
Quote:
There is no truth to an ESPN radio rumor that has Wally Szczerbiak and Michael Olowokandi going from the Wolves to Boston with Paul Pierce going from Boston to Seattle and Ray Allen coming here.

Were rumored to be giving up Ebi, too. If Allen was only a rental, that would be devestating.

Min/Bos, Min/Sea, and Min/Sea deals are being speculated.

Boston would like Spree's expiring deal. Seattle would probably just have mroe fun with Allen or perhaps they think they could re-sign Spree.

my cousin just told me about this one. At a first glance it sounds awsome. The last thing we need is to lose a center and bring in another g/f. the only tru sf on the team is ebi. everyone else really is a guard. spree is both. we need a backup pg and a good center.

c-ervin johnson
pf-kg
sf-spree
sg-ray allen
pg-cassell

looks like a great lineup but unfortenatly we have no depth.

trading kandi and wally for dampier makes us a way better team, offensively and defensivly
