Watched Ndudi Ebi Play On NBA TV (My Thoughts)

Lots Of Potential

This Guy Could Be Great Player One Day Not Superstar But All-Star. My Guess Is He Will Contribute In 1-2 Seasons, Make An All-Star Team In 4-6 Seasons.

Offense:
He Was Very Aggresive Scoring, Made several Nice Moves. Could Improve Shooting, But Has Good Jumping Ability.

Defense:
He Played Solid Defense And Really Showed Effort Made A Amazing Block That Was All Hustle. Needs To Calm Defense Down A Bit though He Had 7 Fouls I Think.

Other:
From What I Hear His Work Ethic Is Great So Expect To See This Player Have A Great Career Eventually. Looked Like A Fine Player To Me In The Game Tonight.

In two games he has 16 fouls. Fortunately summer league does
not foul players out of the game.

He plays defense with his hands and not his feet. There is
something to being too agressive. I still like him but
he is still a long way from being a contributor in the NBA.

I dont see him as ever being an all-star but he can develope into a pretty good player. He is awhile away from contributing.

yea, ebi is one of my favorite players but i scouted him for 2 days at the summer league and about an hour of footage of him. He is just too weak to play at this point, like SG are pushing him around. He doesn't move without the ball. Doesnt have the handles a sf should have. He is foul prone, and he thinks too much of himself. Out of all the people there in the target center, including players and fans....He thought he was the best one there, he shows no appriciation of being where he is. The one thing that may mess up his career is that he would rather put up stats than try to win.

there are good things about him dont get me wrong. He has a consistent and smooth mid-range jumper. He can defend anyone, he plays the passing lanes which gets him a lot of steals. he can swat the ball when people are around the bucket, and the fact that he has a lot of potential.

I guess tonight was his best game, good stats, less fouls, quite good FG stats. Has anyone of you seen the game? Whats your impressions out of it, is Ebi the "good" youngstar he's supposed to be?

Anyone else agree with
sheefo13's assessment that Ebi's ego is bigger than his game?

i think his ego was bigger there because he was one of the main players there and is one of few that had garuenteed contracts. He will probably be a good defensive player in his career.

As for me, I am not too fond on those egostic players.

It appear that from some people who went to those summer games has said about watching what Ebi has done in the game is not very team-oriented. I'm a little bit baffled because from the KG standpoint, this regular Wolves team is a very excellent passing team.

I should say let give him some time and hopefully he will understand what the game is all about. I really hope he can shed some ego and should play like KG, but not to be too unselfish because I know KG can be sometimes.
