Michael Olowokandi
This guy may go down as one of the worst #1 picks ever if he doesnt develop soon. Hopefully he is works out with mchale and some one like jim peterson and madsen. I really feel like we should trade him. But i think we give him 1 healthy season see what he can do. He was pretty good after he came back from injury then the ploayoffs came along. We really cant afford another season with ervin johnson starting at center.
i really want to trade kandi but i have that gut feeling that the year we trade him, hee wins like Most Improved. Kinda like what happened with bobby jackson

I'd bet the Lakers would take him...Rick Fox for Olowokandi.

He'll be the worst player in the league that ever played. I think we'll be only using him as a blocking machine.

If Kandi would just accept that he has NO offensive game whatsoever, and just concentrate on Blocks & Boards, we may be OK. This means that unless he is wide open for a dunk, by no means should the ball ever be passed to him. He is a black hole and never passes. All his shot attempts should come off of offensive boards.
But, then again, IF he trains hard this offseason, IF he stays healthy, then MAYBE he can gain some confidence during the regular season without playoff pressure, and he will be going against lesser talent.

thing is, the twolves dont need an all star center, they have their big time players, kandi needs to rebound and block, and just have enough of an offensive game to at least draw one player off kg

An all star center woulod help kg out. I just think we need new young blood and i thought kandi would help, but he is pretty bad. Hopefully one of these years he will be an average player.
I cant ever see kandi taking a role that lets him rebound and block. He demands the ball and if he doesnt get it then he wont do anything on defense.

If Kandi could just put up similar numbers that he did with the clips, that would be all we could ask for.

Yep, that was what concerned the organization most. Seems he is on a verge on declincing unless he wanted to be too serious about the game. IMO, he didn't take it too seriously lately.

You guys should move him with Szczerbiak to Boston, for Ricky Davis and Lafrentz.
Kandi is more of a big, to match Shaq in East.. And Lafrentz can helps T'Wolves in more areas.
McHale likes Ricky, and he have a better contract than Szczerbiak..

everybody agrees with the idea of trading kandi and wally in a package deal. but lafrentz and davis??? i don't like that trade at all. i know we tried to get davis and i wished we would'a at the time, but with spree here, why in the world should we bring him in?

I don't dig players with injury proned careers. I used to like him before his nagging injury, so he's out.
I've always wish that Erick Dampier is an ideal candidate for the team, I don't mean to be too obsessed with that idea but I'm sure every fans of teams with scrub centers had one on their wishlist. But it's 99.9% unlikely.
So who else?

You guys are giving up on Kandi WAY too soon.
He missed ALL of training camp last season. He tried to play the early part of the season with an injury. He finally had surgery on that injury. When he came back, he had a very good stretch of 10-15 games where he averaged close to a double-double. Then he went through a stretch where he appeared to lose confindence.
You can count the average to quality 'TRUE' Center in this league on one hand. It's the reason Kandi was drafted #1 overall. They are very hard to find, and you don't give up on one who has loads of potential, and is still relavtively young. Thank God McHale is running the team and not some of you guys.
