Igor Rakocevic???
After seeing igor, the former mionny 2nd round pick, drop 18 on the usa national team, i thought about him being the 3 maybe 2 if hud walks. He has played for winning teams, and now i think he doeserves that second stint with the wolves. He is listed at 6 4. so Right now the 3rd string job maybe between 3 playes, kewith mcleod, blake stepp, or igor!!!

The T'Wolves team gave up on him too early... Not a good sight from the general manager and I want them to give Igor a second chance.

define a stud...i don't think he'd make any difference being in the same position he was before (3rd pg). he's a better player in the international/european game then in the nba. he wouldn't be doing very much of the stuff he showed in that ONE game. i refuse to jump to conclusions after just one game on a guy like that...haven't we been down that road before??? igor, shane heal, i'm sure there is more. they will not make or break the team. so why bring in someone who won't make a difference?

One thing is for sure, I'd much rather have Igor than Blake Stepp.
Stepp is not going to make an NBA team. Igor can play, but not on a championship caliber team like the Timberwolves. Cassell and Troy are fine. I don't think a third PG is necessary, I'd rather have a combo guard. We need someone who can play the 2 and the 1. Now, the problem is I just don't know anyone that fills that hole...

if anyone is a combo guard it is blake stepp. he is 6 4 and he used to play the 2 guard. igor is listed at 6 4 but he doesnt look like it.

i rather not have igor or stepp on my team they both are not that good. But if i had to choose i would pick stepp because he is a better ballhandler igor is more of a shooting guard then a pg.

if anything stepp is more of a 2 guard. But over all now that i think of it igor is just more athleitc. Stepp is a better scorer and a better passer and defenatly a better shooter.

I was pretty impressed with Rakocevic in the Argentina game, and he seems to be having another good game against Italy (17 through 3 quarters, 6-9 from the field). Semms to be a pure scorer, somebody who can get to the hole and put points on the board.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him get another shot this year.
