Wally for Kurt Thomas? Hmm...if I were Minnesota, I might do it if New York threw in some cash and couple second round picks.

i would not do this if the deal is just thomas for wally, wally may not be a star but he has higher value than that to our team.
if draft picks, or more players were added to the deal i may change my mind, although not a center thomas would add some much needed big man help for kg, he can at very least bang down low and grab a few boards

wally and kandi for thomas, nazr, second round pick and cash. i would do that

If Isiah wants to trade Kurt Thomas for Wally, make the trade immediately before he comes to his senses and takes the offer off the table. Don't get greedy and try to extract draft picks or pawn Kandi off on them. Minnesota doesn't need Wally, they desperately need depth up front, and Kurt Thomas is about as solid as it gets. This would make them big favorites to win the championship in my mind.

Does anyone know why Isiah would want to trade the only good defender in his starting lineup for Wally Szczerbiak? Dear God, is the Knicks defense ever going to suck!

Isiah wants to be the first GM to trade every single player in the NBA at least once, that's why.

Seriously though, the article in the first post mentions that Isiah has been very impressed with Sweetney, so Thomas is supposedly on the trade block.
