Should go after Alonzo....
He wants a buyout. Wolves need a center who doesn't suck. He wants to go to a contender. It's a no brainer.

Exactly...that's what I'm saying.
But Nets don't want to do buyout.
The only way to acquire this future Hall of Famer is to trade for him.
But...nobody will listen.

My proposal was Wally for Zo AND a first round pick. Likely a top 10 pick. Nets do have a bunch of first round picks now...and if they keep up their play they're definitely in the lotto.

if that is what you said, then there is no way new jersey does it. It isnt worth for picking up wally and give up zo plus a top 10 pick. nope

Wolves wouldn't think about that deal either. It wouldn't help either team.

well it would help us because we can live without wally and we get a top 10 pick!

And lose our chance at a title, exactly what we're looking for!

first off we really dont need wally to win a ship. We do have trenton hassell. I would expect a lot fo eddie playing the 3 and zo playing a little four and five. But wally isnt exactly a diffrence maker to winning a ship.

yes, i do agree wally isn't much of a difference maker. but don't you think he's got devotion, the man know's what he wants. however that could either be more minutes/money, or a championship

here is the thing. Wally is going to have to step up his oevr all game. The announcers keep saying that wally has stepped up his d. no he hasnt. Tayshaun princed killed him. Lee nailon killed him. Tim thomas and trvor ariza killed him( tim thomas early). rodney white and melo killed him. If you are a scorer and thats all you do, then do your job. He is wayyyy over payed to only average 12 points and play no defense. Eddie griffin is starting to pick up his game and he is a good defender. Hassell is a good defender. Plus those guys can score. He is a good shooter and all but so is fred hoiberg. Hoiberg plays defense. And freddie doesnt get over his head. Against the hornets, fred played a lot better than wally.
summary: 3 other players on our roster than score as much as wally and they actually play defense. Hassell, hoiberg and griffin. Sorry guys but it is the truth. wally should go.

NJ is going to stink this year, with or without Zo. NJ is also going to rebuild (yet again). That means, their 1st round picks will be valuable and crucial for them. There is NO WAY they will want to give up Zo AND a top 10 pick for Wally, a guy who basically plays the same position as R. Jefferson.
