Game Thread: Minnesota Timberwolves @ Indiana Pacers
November 25th, 2004 - 7:00 PM (Central Time)
Minnesota Timberwolves(6-4) @Indiana Pacers(8-3)
Last game: Minnesota - Loss, 92-103
Last game: Detroit - win, 106-96
Projected Starting Lineups:
Reserves:
I know, I know, teams are supposedly "sleeping" on the Pacers, but a loss tonight for Minnesota is inexcusable. Garnett should pour in 30+ points tonight, looking to be more aggressive with the ball with Austin Croshere and a depleted bench guarding him. Sprewell has been MIA the last 5 games or so, and Cassell has still been putting up mediocre performances. Again, KG needs to be a little more selfish with the ball on drop 30-40 points on the Pacers. Minny needs to limit TO's, and prevent a big game from Fred Jones, and/or James Jones. I predict an easy win for Minnesota.
Prediction: Minnesota 97, Indiana 89

Minnesota's being outplayed thus far, halfway through the 2nd quarter. Hudson has played well.

garnett with a quiet first half, so you'd expect a big second half.

Maybe Garnett's shoulder is bothering him, but he needed to step up and take more shots. 12 shots? Garnett needed to put up 20 shots in my opinion. The Pacers basically won because they were unconscious from the 3-point line, and Minnesota could only hit 4. Cassell looked bad again tonight. Tinsley eat him up in the first half, and he still doesn't appear to be as fluid as he was last year. Griffin only played 9 minutes, and he looked pretty darn good, but Flip didn't give him much of a chance tonight.
Minnesota leaders:
Points:
Kevin Garnett - 23
Troy Hudson - 19
Wally World - 18
Rebounds:
Kevin Garnett - 9
Wally - 5
Fred Hoiberg - 5
Mark Madsen - 5
Assists:
Kevin Garnett - 5
Sam Cassell - 4
Wally - 3
Troy Hudson - 3
Trenton Hassell - 3

They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!" Can I get an amen? Can I get a hallelujah? Thank you Jesus.
