Minnesota Timberwolves (16-10) @ New York Knicks (15-13)
Last Game: Minnesota - Win, 109-74
Last Game: New York - Win, 119-111
Projected Starting Lineups:
Reserves:
Minnesota has had a tough time on the road recently, so they are trying to break the streak tonight against a pretty good New York team. Jamal Crawford is on the DL, and Chucker Houston is there to replace him in the starting lineup. Cassell has another tough assignment in guarding Marbury, a guy who is also strong enough to guard him on the other end. This will be a jump-shooting type of game, so whoever hits the jumpers and takes care of the ball will win the game.
i dont think penny is playing in this one, i believe he is hurt. I think we could see a lot of anthony carter again tomight. Hopefully spree can go off for a 30 point game like he did last time he played at new york.......
Wolves are playing like a bunch of 9th grade girls. We need nba players, not a bunch of girls that are goin to wine about playing time and how many shots we are getting. We arent going to win a game on the road any time soon if we dont turn our act around.
It looks like all the moves we made in the offseason other than sign griff, is just garbage. Hassell and hudson are not worth anything other than the vets minimum. Although resigning hoiberg was good, hassell and huddy look like college walk-ons with high hopes. We have a bunch of guys who want to be the star and get 30+ minutes a night. that isnt happening. Spree needs to step up, you cant play good only against your former teams, that just isnt going to cut it....
I know i made a bunch of stereotypical comments but here is the thing, we are playing like the majority of the 9th grade girls basketball players out there. And hassell and huddy are playing like the majority of college walk-ons there are right now.
