A matchup between two of the league's most dissapointing teams thus far. Detroit still has a pretty good record, but when you win a championship, the expectations are raised significantly. They have struggled as of late, while Minnesota has won two games in a row to bounce them back to 2 games over 500. Minneosta's defense has been much improved lately, but their offense is going to have to step up tonight. I expect a low scoring game, and the team that makes the big plays down the stretch takes the game. Detroit is desperate for a win, and Minnesota is desperate to get on a big winning streak.
Wally has been playing great basketball as of late. Tayshaun will try to lock him down, and may very well do so.
We really need someone to step up big this game. I'm talking about Garnett. He usually doesn't score much against the Pistons...so I guess I'm not expecting anything huge from KG. But hopefully he can pull something off. If Eddie Griffin or Troy Hudson can hit some shots tonight, I like our chances.
This is a game at home, we should win. Especially after beating two straight division rivals.
I wonder how Cassell's return will effect the team? If he's at his best, there's no doubt he will make Minnesota better.
I heard the announcers say that Minnesota has a bunch of home games coming up over a 15 game span or something like that, so if they want to gain huge ground on Seattle, now's the time.
