First matchup of the season between these two division foes. Utah has finally gotten some help with Kirilenko back, but he's still playing limited minutes, sort of what Minnesota is supposedly going to do with Sam Cassell. Utah is one of the worst in the league at forcing TO's, and Minnesota is as well. However, Minnesota turns the ball over less than any team in the league, so this shouldn't be a sloppy game. Minnesota needs to take care of the ball like they usually do, and get some contributions on offense other than the usual suspect. I think Minnesota wins this one, but not too easily.
Hmm...this might be a tough game for us. We usually don't do too well against the Jazz.
Trenton Hassell has to play big minutes this game and guard Matt Harpring well.
If the Wolves play the basketball they've been playing the past few games, things should be fine though. Eddie Griffin needs to make smart decision, play good defense, and grab rebounds. Hopefully Wally still has his shot. I'm expecting Raul Lopez to have a big game, so all long as we put a man in front of him and defend the driving lanes, he won't be too effective.
I hope we win. Another win against a division opponent would be great.
