Question for Wolves' fans

I am a lifelong Bulls fan who now views the Bulls only a star player away from the championship after this draft and the signing of Ben Wallace. I know the Bulls front office would love to have KG even if it meant trading away two future all stars as Ben Gordon and Luol Deng plus another player from the roster like Sweetney. In other words, the Bulls would sell the fairly short future for the immediate. In many respects, I think the Bulls would be giving up far too much for the short time KG and his knees have to give, yet on the other hand, I want to win now. I don't see the Wolves with enough now, no matter what you get via free agency, to do anymore than what occurred last year. At the same time, KG's market value diminishes each year, to the point where he has little value in 3-4 years. Why no vision by your GM? What am I missing in the equation?? Oh yeah, most Bulls fans realize that Luol Deng has more upside than even Ben Gordon who is a stud. What do you think?? Thanks

Good question. McHale needs to **** or get off the pot. The yearly promises of "we're going to make a splash in free agency" is getting old fast.

*spends another summer watching decent FA's get courted by other teams*

Re: Question for Wolves' fans

Will the Wolves ever get a player of Garnett's caliber again? Will any team without a player of that caliber win a title?

Obviously with the mess McHale got us in now it's going to be hard to build a championship team around Garnett in the next couple years, but that's the only chance we got. If the goal is to win a championship, you can't trade him. If the goal is to sell tickets, you can't trade him. If the goal is to build a championship team for the future, Ben Gordon and Luol Deng aren't going to give you that. I don't see any reason why he would be traded, unless it was him wanting out.

Re: Question for Wolves' fans

We have Foye, un undersized 2 gaurd, so Ben Gordon may not be the piece that we want in this deal. Ty Thomas, Deng and someone else may be getting more of a look, but I agree with socco, unless he demands to be traded you can't trade him, too valuable to the state of Minnesota. MVM, Most Valuable Minnesotan, class act guy, noy to mention the city's icon now that Moss is gone.

McHale's idea of a good trade: We receive Ricky Davis, Marcus Banks, Mark Blount, and Justin Reed. We gave up Wally and Olowakandi.

Wally: The shooter Minny needed all year.

Kandi: The cap relief they wanted at the end of the year.

Davis: The highflyer, who lost his wings this season.

Blount: Our C...who can't rebound or play D!

Banks: our new PG option, who is a FA, may not re-sign

Reed: also a FA, better hustle option than Mad Dog, may not resign.

Re: Question for Wolves' fans

KG says he wont leave yet because mchale PROMISED KG some veteran help..

well so far this is not happening. what if... mchale doesnt do anything big for awhile.. and near the end of the offseason KG demands a trade.

I can see this happening... :/
