Who's buying some of the Wolves?
Interesting little blurb. Anybody got any ideas who they're talking about--and what effect that might have on the team?

Re: Who's buying some of the Wolves?
Guess it's some big secret at this point You people who know more about the team than I do: Any rich Californians hanging around courtside toward the end of last season?

Meh? Yeah, pretty much--but if some ritzy California businessman is going to put up for 30% of an NBA team, he's going to want some say in how that team's run. It'd be nice to know who he/she is before it happens (IF it's going to).

I'm not going to get my hopes up whether when it will be official -- won't do much about anything because friggin' McHale will be there.

Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Just a minority share. I haven't a clue who it is though.

It would be funny if it was Jimmy Jam or something lol. But what is he gonna do with 30%? Not gonna be moved to Cali, they have enough teams.

OK, so it's starting to look serious, not just a Meh. But why are they being so secretive about whomever Taylor's friend is. Unless it's Charles Manson or Kobe Bryant or somebody like that, why do they have to keep it so hush-hush? Desperate for suspense?
