Good news for the Timberwolves
Good news for the Timberwolves: Point guard Troy Hudson continues to work out at Target Center with other players on a regular basis and seems to be healthy and ready to go. - Minneapolis Star Tribune
The other good news is that forward Eddie Griffin seems to be a new player on the court. - Minneapolis Star Tribune
yay?... if egriffin can play defense and plays to his full potential... like how NBA live and 2k6 rates him, this guy can be good
as for t-hud.. he was a good player... but another G needing more PT may not be what this team needs... we already got mike james to play almost all game...
Thoughts?

Re: Good news for the Timberwolves
Dammit, I thought we got someone good in the trade. Guess not.
I don't know about Hudson, because everytime he seemed to be physically ready, he went down again. It's been done like 3 times since he joined the team.
Griffin - I should give him another chance, after all he had a good season 2 seasons ago prior to last year. Hopefully he will play a lot better, shooting a lot better. He would, if he keep away from troubles off the court.

That's great news...provided Casey actually lets him step on the court.

Re: Good news for the Timberwolves
griffin is a big question mark, but if he gets some consistant minutes and can play up to the level he is capable of he will be a huge positive for the team.
even in spot minutes last year he did some good things, casey needs to have him on the court and give him some serious minutes for him to be a difference maker though.
and i like hudson, hes a good spark for this team off the bench offensively, able to come on and make multiple baskets in a very short period of time, id preffer to have a healthy hudson and trade jaric by the deadline rather than the other way around.

In Hudson all you have is a poor mans Mike James....and you already have Mike James. I would prefer to keep JAric and ship out Troy.....Jaric and James in the back court together can work at times.

I disagree. It has been mentioned before, Jaric is not suiting the Wolves' system very well. He's like a wrong jigsaw piece trying to fit in. He didn't do much as they expected him. Troy can do better but injuries kept him out.

Re: Good news for the Timberwolves
I still like Griffin, he's a good player, when he gets minutes. Last year was different because he couldn't see when he was playing, but he got the corrective eye surgery and should be good to go this year.

Re: Good news for the Timberwolves
im not too worried about griffin, its just consistant minutes that he needs, we've all seen the great rebounding and shotblocking he can bring the wolves.
and jaric is definately the odd man out on this team, he is definately the player who the wolves should be looking at moving

Re: Good news for the Timberwolves
jaric didnt fit in at clippers either...
where DOES he fit in? I personally like him. He's a 10 5 and 5 guy. An all around guy that can score when asked to. i'm just curious as to where you guys think he can fit in?

hes just a good glue player for a team that relies on the front court, not so much their "star" back court...
that being said no idea who could really use him.... the jazz maybe, the lakers probably could have used him for some ball handling duties... its hard for him to fit in to teams set in their ways

Re: Good news for the Timberwolves
I doubt anyone wants Jaric, but he isn't that bad.
