I think if we are going to be serious about making a push for a championship this and next year, a good guy to grab would be Jalen Rose simply because he has a lot of experience and does everything he can to win. I like um, I know a few of you hate him, but I think he would add awsome depth to the Wolves.

eh..

he would add depth yea. only because wolves aren't that deep. but then again, we do have a lot of guys who demand the ball. I think jalen rose may mess up any sort of chemistry we may have as of right now. Jalen is the type of player that wants and needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

I don't want him.

we need to get rid of hudson AND jaric... then rose may well be useful on the wolves.
otherwise we've just got more un-needed back court depth taking minutes away from our better, younger guys.
i think rose would be good though ... having foye, hassel, ricky, jalen and reed at the 2/3 would be great depth on the wings.

As a Canadian who saw a lot of Raptors games when Jalen was around, I'm gonna disagree. I think that on a team with other good options, he could be a nice fit. I actually think that he's someone who would play well with KG. He's just not somebody that we could ever play alongside James and Davis.

What we need is a guy with mass experience. At this point, our starting lineup consists of a bunch of guys that are used to playing off the bench until recently. Even if Rose would come off the bench, he would bring a winning mentality and a vet who is wanting a ring just as bad as KG. He plays all the first 3 positions too.

i think he'll end up with a contendor, spurs or heat...
but having him here would be great, as mentioned above, the experience would help out a great deal, and we could use a lot of different line ups with guys like rose, foye and hassel who are able to play multiple positions with ease

I'm not a NBA salary genius or expert, and probably never will... Let's suppose Rose decide to come over here to Minny, then will this team get into deeper hot water with their salaries?

The most we could possibly offer is a two year deal starting at $1.75Mil. So no, it wouldn't hurt. But he's probably not gonna take that much money anyways, especially to come here.

he's still geting paid a bucket load from the knicks, he'll be signing a minimum contract with whichever team he wants, money is not an issue

Blah, he wants to go to contending teams like the Suns and Heat, obviously. Still, $1.75 million isn't appealing enough.
