Ricky D suspended
Quote:
MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 20 (AP) -- Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ricky Davis was suspended for one game because he left the bench and walked into the locker room during Friday's 104-98 double-overtime loss to the Pistons.
Davis left the bench after he was replaced by Randy Foye during the third quarter. He returned a couple of minutes later, but appeared upset. He did not play the rest of the game.

Re: Ricky D suspended
Moments before McHale told reporters of the suspension, Wolves coach Dwane Casey said he "did not know" if there would be disciplinary action against Davis.
When told that McHale made the suspension public, Casey said it was a mutual decision made by himself, McHale and owner Glen Taylor.

You act like he hasn't already destroyed this franchise. He has, and he will continue to make it worse and worse because Glen Taylor refuses to fire him regardless of how bad he does.

Re: Ricky D suspended
I don't understand why people dislike Ricky so much. He has a rocky history but this is the only "bad" thing he's done since he's been here. Really, it's no difference from other players.

Re: Ricky D suspended
Ricky Davis has a million doller body and a 5 cent head. Whats wrong with playing defense even after you dunk on somebody? Davis is the type of player that waits at the other end of the court and waits till Garnett gets a rebound so he can pass it to Ricky for the easy points.
Davis is a hot dog through and through! he'll never change. Davis will not play defense consistently to be any good. I wouldn't even call him our 2nd best player other wise it would be laughable!

Re: Ricky D suspended
Haha, you complain about Ricky's defense after declaring you would have rather kept Wally? Give me a break.

Wally's been unfortunate with injuries since he was traded. Bum knees and now swollen ankles. I am no fan of injury depleted team and what would I think of with Wally if he's still with us? Even worse team than we are now, actually. With even worse defense, hands down.

Re: Ricky D suspended
Time to let Ricky go..sure he will give you some highlight plays but he does nothing for the team. Trade while you might be able to actually get something in return.
