Wolves end the Suns' streak!

Amazing...We must be the most "Jeckyl & Hyde" team in the league.

Glad we are the team who has done that.

Re: Wolves end the Suns' streak!

I'm kind of dumbfounded. What an effort, KG most of all. That might be his career reg. season game... well, maybe Sacramento early 03-04.

Re: Wolves end the Suns' streak!

our offense was awesome, shooting some rediculous percentages for the entire game.
even better to see was that we closed it out, made a run with about 4 minutes to go and put some breathing room between the teams that they just couldnt catch.
well KG did, we pretty much used the same play for the entire last 5 minutes... and it worked nearly every time.

if wittmans coaching strategy consists of "get the ball to KG and go from there" we could be very successfull, he can easily handle the load of being a go to scorer (25+ ppg) its just never been the way here in minny. if this changes, garnett could lead this team and actually achieve something this season.

very pleased with this win to say the least (possible first round match up if we make the playoffs too)

Re: Wolves end the Suns' streak!

We wouldn't be able to do that in a seven game series.

i would really doubt that aswell, but most teams couldnt..

we match up against pheonix as well as anyone else does, they will have their biggest problems with a team with a dominating inside presence. such as garnett, duncan etc. they dont have a whole lot of defence for a team that can pound it down low all night.

wittman coached impressively against them, and seemed to realise going to garnett all night was the best way to keep up with their high paced scoring.
i'd preffer the suns in the first round than the mavs, or spurs or that matter. they are basically the 3 teams we are looking at first up if we make the playoffs
