Expected it to end up around the 70Mil mark... nice to get this done before other teams get a shot at him.

obviously he wants to be here long term which is great

I don't see how someone can consider this deal anything but a bargain. Jefferson will play at an All Star level for years to come and while he is already a very good big man, he still has room to grow and fill out the holes in his game. The salary cap will also increase over the years which makes this deal even better if you compare it to what other players have gotten in the past years or this summer.

definately... in 2-3 years time this contract is going to seem like an absolute bargain, if not already
