OT: Peterson and Childress
Why does childress not run Peterson more, and why does he have him returning kicks (which is a much larger injury risk)? The guy needs to be fired.

Re: OT: Peterson and Childress
I think those were more valid questions earlier this season. He had 30 carries today--many more and you're tempting fate and risking injury. And speaking of risking injury, he didn't return any kicks today; that was more for when he wasn't starting or being featured, but was instead splitting time. I think considering he set the single-game rushing record today, those days are over.

Re: OT: Peterson and Childress
I didn't see any kickoff returns by Peterson either. What I don't understand about Brad Childress' coaching philosophy, we have 2 good running backs. I thought it was all about splitting the duties between Taylor and Peterson, but yesterday I saw Peterson on field about 3/4 of snaps. What's going on? Taylor seemed fine. A NFL breaking record is really nice, but c'mon, the chance of AP getting injured increases when he is doing the job most of the time. I'm afraid he could get hurt (knock on the wood). He's still very young and Chester Taylor did well for the Vikes last season.

Do not listen to this man.
Brad Childress is obviously a FFL owner.

Re: OT: Peterson and Childress
Childress is an idiot. It's football and anybody can get hurt in ONE play and it's Peterson. Don't risk this guy with a plethora of potential.

Re: OT: Peterson and Childress
Give 'em both 20 carries if healthy. Mix in 15 play-actions and 5 normal/shotgun passes.
Now they should pretty much rest AP this season, don't risk it.
