Game 8: Wolves (1-6) vs. Hornets (8-2)
Did I see a completely different lineup tonight?

Re: Game 8: Wolves (1-6) vs. Hornets (8-2)
I caught the very end, when the likes of Melvin Ely and Ryan Bowen were running rampant over our guys. Couple of bad games in a row now. We need to get Foye back, but also to keep Ratliff healthy, to keep Smith healthy, to keep McCants healthy, to keep Telfair healthy, to keep Green healthy--all of those guys have missed games or parts of games with illness or injury, and it's killing this already not-so-good team by robbing any kind of consistency.

So injuries has really killed us over the first 8 games. That must have really rough on us but regardless how depleted this team is, they need to have to play all 48 minutes. That's all they can take to win a game. Apparently, they don't.

Re: Game 8: Wolves (1-6) vs. Hornets (8-2)
Yeah, I think what it comes down to is, this team is nowhere near good enough to have anything go wrong. There is no margin for error. Everyone needs to be healthy, the guys who are to be the focal points have to play well, people need to fill their roles, they have to avoid foul trouble ... and they have to do all that every night.
Which, of course, would be somewhere between unprecedented and impossible. So instead we have to just hope they continue to play with the effort they've usually given this year and be happy for the wins we get.
All 16-22 of them.

That pretty much sums it up luther. We pretty much have to do everything perfect, or have the other team play really poorly, to win.

and with young players... then vets like antoine and jaric everyone getting it right on the same night is going to be a rarity unforunately
