Wolves v Nuggets
I'm probably the only person watching this game but I thought i'd add my thoughts.
1) We are playing pretty darn well. Our lack of offensive talent doesn't matter since the Nuggets don't play defense.
2) McCants looks like a leader out there, but his shot selection is abysmal. A couple of times I've seen him dribble aimlessly and then jack up a jumper. Just can't have that.
3) Craig Smith and Antoine Walker have surprising chemistry. On one play Smith posted up and drew the triple team, and dished to Walker for a layup. A couple plays later Walker drove and dished to Smith for the layup. They are playing off each other well.
4) Telfair is a great ball handler but his decision making is lacking. So is his play-making ability. He really has no offensive game at all. He's just a ball handler. It's weird, I can't recall ever having a player who's only skill doesn't really translate to anything tangible at all. I mean, when the best thing you can say about a guy is that he won't get trapped... that's not good.
5) Walker's really playing well and not shooting up jumpers, he's attacking the rim.
6) We're playing solid team defense. Guys are making their rotations and hustling. That's all you can ask of them.
