Interesting Blazer info...

http://www.basketballboards.net/foru...threadid=43045

I honestly didn't think Minnesota would be trading TB's contract, but McHale and Flip seem adamant that something is going down.

I couldn't help but notice the new Trailblazer editorial update...

The new GM is desperate to trade Rasheed? Let's get him! Wallace is the perfect player to complement KG, and a great fit for the team. He needs a new start, and is a top 10 talent in the league.

Sheesh, in all the old rumors we had to trade most of our bench for him, now we might just get him for TB, but there's probably something about salaries not matching up.

I think. And the TB deal will probably blow us away.

Anyway, it certainly would be a fearsome front, but a defensive guy like Artest would maybe be better. It would help slow down Gs like Kobe and there'd be plenty of low post space and stuff. Something like that.

Wallace may go to Charlotte after his contract is up, for the UNC factor and his skill. Unless they deem him too bad of an influence.

John Nash is not desperate to get rid of Rasheed, I watched the interview live and listen to him on the radio soon after, Rasheed in not untouchable but it would take alot of good talent to get him, he is putting a premium price tag on him and besides Sheeds 19 mil would come off our books next year any ways so Sheed for cap space is Comical. Today Nash said that he would rather keep Rasheed.

Do you actually think that the blazers would pick TB's contract over What Jerry west offered? Pau Gasol/Battier/Wright/fillers for Rasheed??

Go to Oregonlive.com/blazers and you will see nothing about, Tb's contract, If the blazers wanted it so bad they would of had pulled the trigger on the Derek Anderson/Ruben Patterson for TB acouple of weeks ago but they said NO.

Sorry but sheed wont be a t=pup unless it means that KG is comming to the pacific NW.

But trading Sheed for the TB contract/filler saves Portland over $30 million this year.

So, Retrodreams was wrong and it's not Allen's high priority to trade Sheed? And West would trade probably his favorite Grizz in Gasol and Battier on their rookie contracts, plus more?

You have to remember that Rasheed is still the blazers best player, and that Nash has put the premium price tag on him, and I dont think that he would be dumb enough to trade sheed for cap space, If Portland really really wanted TBs contract they would have done the TB for DA/RP deal. lol
