Can the Wolves now win the Midwest?

HI Wolves fans,

I ask this question because,I feel certain barring any weird injuries like what took place in this past comical parade of events to the championship that the Wolves and,Lakers are going to be tough to beat and, that if the playoffs started today there would be no reason to assume anything other than LA vs Minnesota.

The Spurs will be tough but, hardly the same without the original twin towers.I don't know how you feel about Nesterovic sliding over to Texas but,I am wondering if you feel that the "KandiMan"is an upgrade or not?I do.If he works he will add some toughness that Nesterovic could'nt provide.

With that said I've already crowned these Wolves to be the most vicous in years and,the Midwest champs...

This year it won't be about a playoff round. This could be for the tittle.

Looking forward to that and,the fun that it will be to watch

The Spurs are a heck of a winning team. I'd still bet they get the division, but I don't know about the playoffs. Lakers probably, but it's just August.

Kandiman is an upgrade.

If we fill out the bench, which Mchale and Flip are good at, it's hard to argue we just flat can't win a title.

Definitely something to look forward to.

What an argument. Orlando wins the Atlantic because they have the best player, right?

SA has a great player and a good system, as can be seen. Plus they had no injuries. The Wolves will take more than the Spurs' new acquisitions to gel, but the Wolves could be better.

If Duncan and KG went to the NBDL, their teams would be about the same.

Tim Duncan???

all i gotta say is the spurs are lucky they didn't have to play the timberwolves in the playoffs. kg is just as good and since nobody else is saying it, he's better than duncan. you'll see just how good kg can be this year now that he has players who can fill the void around him as duncan has had ever since he joined the spurs. i can see kg as a possible threat to come close to averaging a triple double every night as did the big o back in the day. kevin garnett is the most complete player in the game today. that mvp award would be tarnished if the spurs hadn't won the title because kevin garnett was the rightful owner of that award. but it's ok, cuz kg will come back even harder next year and he will win mvp and the timberwolves will win the midwest and be out of the playoff cellar and all of a sudden, yes i can say it, on the verge of an nba title.

Duncans effectiveness was primarily predicated on the role that Robinson played.Nesterovic is no Robinson. You will see double teams this year because of that on Duncan and,Shaq he is not.Although a good passer but, not to much above average. If you put the Spurs attack under the microscope they are now a team without a right mix of veterans.

Duncan now has Mano and,Parker as his leading threats other than himself.Mercer has been in the league how long? Why can't he find a home that wants to keep him.Seems when you have him he is the first guy you think of when you need meat to make a trade work.Hedo lost his job last season to Jackson for a multitude of reasons.Bowen?A good defender...

The Wolves are the other team in the league that is just flat stacked.Your tellin me that they can't deal with that Spurs unit?
Please explain...
