Game 3: Wolves @ Nets

Quote:
Preview: The Wolves visit the new Brooklyn Nets and new Barclays Center for the first time, and for only the second regular-season NBA game played there. The 1-0 Nets opened the new $1 billion arena with a 107-100 victory over Toronto on Saturday, two days after their long-awaited Brooklyn debut against the crosstown rival Knicks was postponed by superstorm Sandy.

Players to watch: Nets center Brook Lopez, who last summer signed a four-year max contract that Wolves All-Star Kevin Love no doubt noticed (same exact deal as his), looked recovered from that foot injury that sidelined him most of last season. He scored 27 points Saturday after leading the Nets in preseason scoring. ... The Nets acquired G Joe Johnson and his huge contract in a trade that paired him with guard Deron Williams. Together, they have combined for nine All-Star Game appearances, three All-NBA selections and 11 playoff appearances.

Injuries: Wolves PG J.J. Barea (concussion-like symptoms) is questionable, and F Kevin Love (broken hand) and G Ricky Rubio (knee surgery) are out. Nets Fs Gerald Wallace (ankle) is questionable and Josh Childress (ankle) is doubtful.

Re: Game 3: Wolves @ Nets

I'd call this a MUST win for the Wolves.

Re: Game 3: Wolves @ Nets

Huge win last night! We came back from being down 22 points in the third. Held the Nets to 10 points in the 4th quarter!
