How do you think they'll do this year?


I think this team can make the playoffs if their defense plays decent and Pepper cuts down his INTs and fumbles. Moss will have his usual 1000 yard season.

I'm hoping for a 10-6 year. They just need to get their defense worked out. Their offense is great, it's their defense that needs major improvement.

Fair wather? 55 straight sellouts. I watched every game last year except for the NO one, in which I thought we'd be beaten like '01.

Lakers and Vikes. Umm... anyway.

In a vacuum: Team looks good an improving. Too bad Bennett is out.

In the NFL: Holy crap! Nice schedule, huh? Same prediciton as last year: 8-8, not that we won't play well regularly. So that's the under.

I would say that in general, Minnesotans are fair weather sports fans.....EXCEPT when it comes to the Vikings. They are the one team that people here live and die by. That game against the falcons still hurts everytime i think about it.

I am just a Minnesota sports fan in general. Love the Twins, Vikes, Wild, and Gophers. But, of course, my first love is the Twolves.

As for the Vikes, I think Pepper will have a great year. 1) He has a new contract so there is some security for his future and he should play more relaxed. 2)The O-line is huge (understatement) so he shouldn't he to run for his life. 3) The stupid Randy Ratio is over. The thinking behind it is good. Get your best player the ball often. But to say you have to throw to him a certain number of times a quarter is nuts. Pep threw into triple coverage at times trying to get him the ball. Defenses knew about the Ratio and played off other receivers and concentrated on Randy. Dump the ball to Jimmy or S.O.D. and eventually they will ease off Randy.

My prediction is 9-7 and a playoff berth. Hopefully, next year a run at the Super Bowl.
