MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) - Sid Lowe returned to the NBA on Wednesday, becoming an assistant coach with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the third time.

Lowe stepped down as the Memphis Grizzlies' coach on November 12, giving way to Hubie Brown after matching the worst start in franchise history (0-8). The team was 23-59 - a franchise-best.
