The need for youth this off season
The T'wolves are a great team this year, easily the best in franchise history, having the 'big 3' has been a great thing for this team.
but 2 members of the big 3 are past their prime (cassel may have proved this wrong, but he is getting on a bit).
i dont want to see cassel moved, he has been a great pick up for the T'wolves and i can see him being a major part at a championship run.
but they wolves also need to look towards the future, some young guys to develop while also contributing.
wally for tyson chandler, maybe signing stromile swift with the MLE?
im not really sure, the point of my post is basically to see what you guys think, any ideas you have, trade situations, getting draft picks, anything....

something like that would be ideal for the wolves, and i agree dakballa, ebi needs a chance, i really think he will develop into a pretty solid player

What happened to Keith McCleod (out of Bowling Green), he played well as a back-up PG earlier during the season. Are the Wolves going to bring him back next year, because it's almost assured that Hudson is gone for more money.

I'm not sure how I feel about this trade, but would you guys trade:
Wally and Madsen
for
Tyson Chandler and Eddie Robinson?
It does work under the cap. The principles in the trade are both injury prone. It seems like your new look team doesn't have much room for Wally.

i heard the news about troy leaving a few months ago, but then another article was released saying due to his injury, hudson would not opt out of his contract for more moeny, not knowing whether he will get the money he believes he deserves.

I think the Wolves are kind of stuck where they are. No money to spend and really no one to trade.
I don't see anyone taking Wally and giving up much for quality in return.

no trading wally
as much as i don't like wally after last year's playoffs, and seeing him dribbling around in game 1 of the this year's conference finals, the wolves need to keep him around. we didn't invest all that money into him just to trade him for a project. there is a reason we signed him, and that is his mid range game, and his ability to shoot the J to relieve pressure off of kevin garnett. and if he can accept his new role as a reserve off the bench, i see no reason to move him. this team has been together one year and they have made it further than anyone had expected. we were only supposed to get out of round 1, and even then, there were some doubters. this team needs to stick together for another year, and another shot if they win the title or not this year. i don't want a project player, wally is proven and i can handle the way he plays in his current role.
i do like what i hear on the MLE tip. Stromile would be a great addition to the front line. he would be a great addition in reference to his age, expectations, and potential. i know this is farfetched, but if there were a way, i would love to see ginobili in a wolves uniform.
