A big day for the MMA world. Fox will air four fight cards a year, while FX will air between 4-6 more on top of that. Along with those fights, The Ultimate Fighter (after this season) will also call FX home. This is a great day to be a fan of the sport, that's for sure.

No matter your opinion on the man, Dana White has been arguably the most important figure in MMA since the Gracie family.

Jon Anik is reporting that the first card could take place November 12th on Fox. The UFC is also reporting, via Twitter, that the TUF coaches will announce who is up for the fight and then the voting is open to the fans. So it sounds like they will go week-to-week, rather than filming it in bulk and then letting it air a month or so after the fighters leave the house.

EDIT: Dana is now saying that the cards on Fox could feature title fights. I love this.

I don't know why but I always had a feeling that it would be FOX its going to be fun see Joe Buck promoted UFC during a football game.
