IMO the best right now is Nate Marquardt. Granted he use to be in the UFC, but now is the welterweight Strikeforce champion.
One guy to look out for is Sergio Pettis. I Believe he's still unbeaten in the smaller mma circuit. And he' also fights in kick boxing tournaments. The kid is a special fighter. I'm sure most here are already familiar with his bother Anthony "Showtime" Pettis. Who' is a top contender in the UFC. |

Sergio is a name I've seen pop up in articles a lot the past year or so. I believe he's still undefeated and is only 17 or 18. I remember he said he's in no rush to get to the UFC, don't blame him. He's still real young and would instantly be tossed into Showtime's shadows.
