Re: UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar
I'm rooted in reality...Silva should, and will, win this fight.
But I love an underdog story. At first I was laughing that Bonnar was slated to meet the best fighter ever. Once you think about it though, this will be a very fun fight to watch. Keep in mind, Bonnar has been fighting for over a decade and has never been stopped (not counting two doctor stoppages.) Think about it, he has never been KO'd, TKO's or submitted and he's faced: Machida Griffin (x2) Jardine Rashad Evans Jon Jones Mark Coleman To never be stopped by those guys speaks to how tough Bonnar truly is. Does this mean he stands a chance? Eh, not really. But you can bet he'll put up a hell of a fight against Anderson. With that said, I got: Silva Big Nog Glover Silva (I think this will be his welcoming party to the upper tier at 170) Davis Maia Bezerra Tibau Brandao Moraes (idk who either of these two are) Cane Marcello

I'll take Anderson, Big Nog, Teixeira, Fitch, Prado, and Story. I don't know enough of the preliminary fighters to make a guess about them.

Re: UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar
I know that Rony Jason won TUF: Brazil, and that Brandao won one of the recent TUF's.

Re: UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar
I've heard great things about Tibau and Brandao, but they're both coming off losses in the only fights I saw them in, so I'm not sure what to think.

Re: UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar
Diego is one of those guys that comes right out the gate like a bat out of hell. If he doesn't finish the fight within the first few minutes, he's done for.

Re: UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar
Man I keep forgetting about this, I really think it may be somewhat competitive between Silva/Bonnar for the reasons you said.
Silva's gonna be on his A game though, gonna give Brazil a show. |

This Glove/Moldonado fight is painful to watch. Got to tip your hat to Fabio though for taking that ass whooping and almost scoring a crazy KO.

Re: UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar
Ref calls it after the 2nd round.
Glover Texiera def. Fabio Maldonado via. pure, utter domination. Those two rounds were probably scored 10-7. No lie.

Re: UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar
"I told Hackman 'I'm going to knock him out, I don't care how tough his chin is'...he's not human!"
Glover was very humble in such a dominate victory. Calls out Rampage.
