Who's the best 2G in the Mountain West?
Who's the best 2G in the Mountain West?
I'm biased, but I say Tony Bland.

I assumed Bailey is a forward. If you consider Marcus Bailey from WY a guard then he is on Douglas' level. After Douglas there is little difference between 2-5. Why would you put Bland above Douglas and Hansen?
#1 Ruben Douglas - There is no question he is the best. He will be 1st team all conference, POY and is a legit All-American candidate.
#2 Travis Hansen. Scoring average same as Bland but he is a better rebounder and defender.
#3 Bland.
#4 Birley. I read reports that he will start at 2G.
#5 Nick Jacobson.
Guys who could be in the mix but I am not sure of Jermaine Lewis and Demetrius Hunter from UNLV.

Because, I'm biased. SDSU is my favorite college team. I've heard very good things about Douglas, but have yet to see him play.

I think SDSU is going to be good this year again. Have you heard or read anything else on the status of Evan Burns elibility appeal? I know he is attending SDSU and practicing with the team while his appeal is being considered.

SDSU won't be that good...
This team lost alot last year in Holcombe and co. Bland is back, yes, as well as Mackell, but I just don't think their talent level is high enough to make another serious conference run.
It's nice to see another MWC program starting to shape up, though.

It may be a little early to conclude that. They have more talent on the way. Chris Manker, 6-11 F/C, and Travis Hanour, an explosive 6-7 wing will be elibible in mid Dec. and Evan Burns was ruled eligible. It may take a while to get used to each other but I think they will be a team to reckon with in the MWC tourney. Here is the link on Burns.

Youre right
They looked good vs. Arizona. I judged them too early.
This conf. will be very competitive.
