Any news on any SDSU recruiting or are they done?

I haven't heard anything else. They have three guys who graduated and Burns who will miss most if not all of the season so I would think they would sign 3-4 total players. They have only signed one guy so far. They do have Stokes and Walton who both redshirted last year.

Yeah. I hope Wesley can come up big for SDSU. We desperately need a PG. Slaughter looks like he may have been a good sign, but he needs to bulk up.

Why would Burns miss most of the season. Our Frosh Guard Mark Walters (UNM Lobos) suffered almost the exact same injury about a week after Burns and he's expected to be back by our first game in Nov. I'm sure Burns will be back sooner then later, as long as he works hard on his rehab.

Mark actually goes under the knife tomorrow (May 22nd), has Burns already had surgery?

Yes. Burns had surgery a few weeks ago.

If he comes back sooner rather than later, he might be ready by November, in which case, he'd be healthy for the bulk of the season.

I just hope he can be the same player. Those ACL tears can be killer.
