Big Mouth Bass
In this months’ Men’s Health Magazine, a study was conducted where 90% of men said they hate receiving oral sex from women because their mouths are too small to give the best pleasure. In an unrelated story, the Billy Big Mouth Bass toy has seen it’s sales go up 90% in the last month.

These ones are pretty good, but it is hard to get the entire effect without seeing someone say them in person, because really half the joke is voice tone and facial expression in my opinion.

But dude, Weekend update is not the problem with the show, it is the skits! They don't have consistent skits so how about you try writing some new skits, Tina has weekend up-date thang down

OZZY, obviously I am not going to write my whole sketch (skit) ideas out for you. They are 4-5 pages long and that is just too much. And if you think Weekend Update has been real good lately I think you are mistaken. They seem to do a lot of penis jokes or gay jokes all the time. I would like to see new stuff.

Well I think weekend update kicks ***, is the best part of the show in my opinion.

But dude I would want to hear your ideas for the skits, so if you can just give me a quick summary of some I would like to hear them.

Ghost Existence

Those two were the funniest to me. You are right that SNL has gone stale. But I also agree with OZZY that the weekend update portion of SNL is the only thing worth a damn. In order for that show to get better they need better skits...I thought nick burns computer guy was decent, but not worthy of a classic. They need a couple of classic shows that everyone wants to tune into every week. If you can create those, then you are in.

I would love to read some of you're other skits. I have been thinking of many things in my head as far as skits and movies are concerned. Most of my stuff is comedic like yours. You definitely have the weekend update thing locked down. Maybe we can get together on some ideas and create a skit and send it in. I'm very serious about this. I think of ideas all the time but just havent put them to paper.

Here is a sample weekend update I created while I was writing this

...The Artist Formerly Known as Prince was in New York to headline a New Year music bonanza including the likes of The Backup Dancer formerly known as Jennifer Lopez, The Black Man Formerly known as Justin Timberlake and the Artist Formerly known as Michael Jackson.....

Have you ever been cow tipping? Apparently you have if you have eaten at Denny's recently....

I liked the Arnold skit, and Weekend update.

That MTV dance show skit made me wanna gauge out my eyeballs

Jeff Richards was good as Rush Limbaugh on Weekend update, that was funny!

And Jack Black was in on some good skits, yeah the music video one was not great but it was funny when Jack Black did those donkey kicks and the "Russian" that was the only good part.

As you guys can see, SNL is playing off Tina Fey's looks, she looks good in that intro, told ya guys she was hot and she did make People's 50 most attractive people.

The best skit on the show is the learning annex, Fred Armisen and Horatio's characters in that skit are hilarious every time!

The Wine tasting skit at the end of the show was not horrible but most people didn't watch it because they already probably turned it off.

Not a out of this world show but not horrible.

You mean when they were at the cooking class? I totally forgot about that one. That was great when Horatio said he was gonna take home some vinegar to scare away the vampires when he walks home

Armisen is great, I was surprised he was still listed as a featured player rather than a full time guy. Overall, I didn't really care for last night's show. There were individual jokes or moments that made me laugh, but as a whole I came away thinking "I hope this isn't how the whole season will go".

That's what I thought.

The Wade Robson sketch was horrible and done all wrong. Jack basically made it funny with the donkey kicks.

Arnold opening, Darrell does better impressions I don't know why he doesn't sound like Arnold.

The ***** Eye for the Straight Gal, uggh blah. NEXT.

The wine tasting, funny at first but then it was too long. Rush Limbaugh very funny.

I liked Finesse but did he really have to do his stand up act from a couple of years ago on WU set.

I've seen Kenan do Cosby before, so I was not surprised when he nailed it. I am not going to lie, when he told Maya (Wanda Sykes) to get out of his face I was cracking up.

But like with anything, once SNL gets a laugh out of something they feel the urge to drag all the sketches on an extra 2-3 minutes. 8 minute sketches are just too long IMO.

And what was up with all the commercials. It is hard to sit and watch it if there is going to be a commercial every other minute.

Overall it was pretty good, but they needed to use Jack better and John Mayer was real good also.

Oh and one more question. Will Ferrell was there and yet was not used at all. Why even have him there?

That bugged me too -- if he's going to be there, throw him out there in a sketch! When he made an appearence last season, he did a WU bit as well as a "Luvahs" skit. There must have been something they could have had him do.
