Just got back. Let me start off with this.

As if we didn't know already, Hayden Christensen may be the worst actor of all-time. I really wish Leo would have taken the role of Anakin.

Ewan McGregor is an awesome actor, and one of the best of our time. He showed it in this.

I love Natalie Portman.

This movie had an unbelievable amount of unintentional comedy. Bill Simmons should be all over this.

There were many forced/overly cheesy lines.

The battle scenes were superb.

Overall, worth seeing if only because it is the ending/middle/beginning of a saga. I won't come up with a number grade right now, but it would probably be somewhere in the 7's.

I saw it last night as well.
It was nice to see Lucas at least tried to make a non-crap film. He could have stuck with the same garbage he tossed out in Episode II, but he did make an effort to shore up the writing, and some of the acting. There are still plenty of bad lines, bad acting, etc. But it's not nearly as bad as the first two in the prequels.

I would say this is almost as good as Return of the Jedi. So almost the 3rd best star wars film.

It's very dark.
And it's good to finally have this whole ordeal over with. No more prequels. Thank god.

Hopefully Lucas doesn't screw up the Indiana Jones movies now.

Oh, and what happened to Natalie Portman's character. One minute she acted like she was queen, the next minute in this movie, she's all bubbly girlfriend.

Thank god she is done with these movies. Talk about a major derailment in terms of her acting career.

Honestly, I don't think Portman is a particularly good actress. But she is very pretty. So it works for me.
