It was nice to see Lucas at least tried to make a non-crap film. He could have stuck with the same garbage he tossed out in Episode II, but he did make an effort to shore up the writing, and some of the acting. There are still plenty of bad lines, bad acting, etc. But it's not nearly as bad as the first two in the prequels.

Am I the only one who thought Episode 2 could have been a decent movie if the acting and dialogue hadn't been so atrociously bad? The story arc was OK, and some of the characters had potential. There was some good action too, though it was incredibly saturated with unnecessary and fake-looking CGI effects.

The reviews here and the ones trickling in from the media are making me want to see this more than I thought I would. Even a mediocre Star Wars movie would be good to see at this pont.

Why didn't they get some creepy-looking mother****er like Nick Stahl? And he can actually act, too.

they should've brought in someone who was a little older looking. Because to me, it's hard to believe that Darth Vader aged as much as the original movies implied, with Hayden as Darth Vader.

I mean, crap, he's maybe what, 30 in this movie?

So he's supposed to look like this just after 18-25 years??

Hayden can act. Lucas can't direct. He can't even get a decent performance out of Samuel L. Jackson.
