Why would someone boycott this movie because of supposed political undertones? The gist of this film and how the Empire comes to power was in place 27 years ago! If anything Darth bush and Emperor Rove plagiarized from Lucas.

I just saw it tonight. I have a mechanics of materials test tomorrow, but they aren't making any more Star Wars movies, so I figured it was worth the sacrifice.

Now I'm reading all over the place that Lucas is probably going to make another trilogy? I don't think I can handle that.

Oh well. I'll be long out of school before that happens, anyways. And I was really impressed by RotS tonight, so I guess it was worth foregoing the studying. Or at least I'll go to bed thinking that.

Well, seeing my wondrous abilities recognized was kind of nice.

Well, I saw it last night and loved it. As for an Episode 7, Mark Hamill gonna need alot of make-up if Lucas is possesed to try to make another one.

I thought the movie was the best of the series. I really rank it seperately because i think it stands alone.

I liked them all so being six isn't really an insult. I mean i like all the James bond movies as well...but Dr. NO is the best.

ROTS is a Tragedy with a distinct beginning middle and end.

I also must pat myself on the back. I was going to see it 3 times in a row but things changed a bit when i stopped really fast at the local wendy's in between movies.

I saw a sixteen year oldish kid sitting on the curb. He had obviously gotten his *** beaten big time and well, was crying. I walked over and asked him if he was ok..dumb question.

Anyway i gave him my ticket and he seemed pretty happy. I felt good anyway.

The movie IS a must see and can be enjoyed by all on some level.

That's how I have them. I can't believe you have empire fourth. If you like ROTS so much, how can Empire not be your favorite?

Empire has 2 scenes that i love: the obvious "I'm your father" line.
and when han solo is about to be frozen the princess says "I love you"...Han Solo says "I know". That was a very good scene.

Other than that nothing blows me away about the movie.

Sith has what i call Re-watchability...there are several differen't things in the movie that you can look back on.

I think i'm in the minority where i placed TPM, but it is just good fun for me and it has arguably the coolest light saber fight.

It's just my opinion...ROTS is dark with a purpose and Empire...well... just seemed dark. I do like it though like i said.

Not necessarily. Give computer animation 20 years and it will be indistinguishable from live action.

No amount of make-up could make Mark Hamill look human, much less like his younger self.

i love all the movies but these are in order, i hope he makes one last trillagy with luke. this movie was a tad corny in the begging but it realy picked up in about 20min. movie was great

rotj - nothing needs to be said
esb - even with Luke's whining at Darth Vader, it was nice and dark, plus Boba Fett!
anh - could be above esb, but I didn't feel like it
aotc - better than tpm, but Anakin was a whiney putz
tpm - couldn't get into it - Star Wars lite, with annoying characters


rots - haven't seen it yet, so I can't rate it

Wow. That seems pretty low for ESB and ROTJ.

I haven't seen ROTS, so ranking the other five:

1. Return Of The Jedi
2. The Empire Strikes Back
3. A New Hope
...
4. Attack Of The Clones
5. The Phantom Menace

If Revenge Of The Sith were superior to any of the first three movies, that would be great. So far, the most recent two don't even approach the original three, in my opinion.

That's funny...I just noticed my list is in inverse chronological order of the story sequence.
