THe new episode of Lost is on Tonight and it's 4 straight weeks of new episodes which end with the season final where they explaine what happenes with the plane.

Mabye everyone on the island DID die in the plane crash. But all of the events that have unfolded act as a sort of purgatory, to see whether they go to heaven or hell. Just think of all the bizare coinsidences that have occurded. Like Charlie and Jack's dad just so happening to have a beer together....

The writers have already said that it isn't purgatory, since that was by far the most popular theory. I guess they felt the need to shoot it down early so people can conjure up other theories. That's the only theory the writers have said is wrong.

But despite what the writers say, does it not make almost perfect sense? 50 some people happen to survive a plane crash when usually not a single person survives. And all of the occurances on the island, an how each person has a secret dark past. How many flights have you taken along side a former rockstar/addict, hired killer, doctor who ended his dads career, former Iraqi soldier, brother and sister who are in love, huge lottery winner...The list goes on. Mabye they are all being given a second chance, to either see if they can make their mistakes correct....or if they throw their life away...

This show just finished the season finale last Thursday, and oh my god..best show ever!! I have become obsessed and unfortunately the next season doesn't come onto Australian TV until February 2006

I have scowered the Internet and Lost Message Boards and come up with this

- In Episode 1, we touch base on the Hatch and whats in it
- Episode 3 you find out what is it and why (I think)
- Locke lowers Kate into the hatch, Kate yells that theres something down there but she falls down
- It was the Others on the boat
- Season 2 is focused on the numbers more
- By the end of S2, you know why the plane crashed
- There are more survivors, people from the rear end of the plane meet up with Sawyer, Jin + Michael
- 4-5 Seasons

I THINK SO (possibly)
- The Others took Walt for his powers
- There are 2 sides of the Island, one good and one evil
- The Hatch leads to the other side of the island (evil)

- Aliens or anything crazy don't come out of the hatch

I've pretty much forgotten about the show this summer, I planned on re-watching all of the episodes to see if I could catch any clues that I missed during the first time around. Too bad I've only watched it twice this summer.
I still can't wait until it comes out. It gives me something to look forward to.

As for all of those "rumors" (whatever you want to call them), they all make a lot of sense.

I think Rose's husband, you might not remember him, will come back sometime this season. I think she gave a big clue away when she said "my husband is not dead." That's really one of the only clues that I caught.
