I don't know about giving Depp any Oscars, but it's damn silly to say he hasn't done any great movies.
Edward Scissorhands
What's Eating Gilbert Grape
Ed Wood
Blow
Pirates
Finding Neverland
i dont consider any of them great, they are good but nothing very special

The movie was pretty long and if you don't like narrative flashbacks then stay away since it loaded with them. Also wasn't a big fan of the ending but overall it was a good movie and the style of the movie was bad ***.
Some oldish movie. Another one of those feel good kinda movies that are really predictable but I really liked it. Marisa Tomei played this pretty funny and cool woman and it was actually kinda hot.
I know tons of people that despise it, but for some reason this flick drags me in every time. I feel like I'm in a trance when watching it... Not Arronofsky's best work but there's something about this film that keeps me re-watching it every so often.

I feel the same way with Armageddon.

I think The Fountain is absolutely Aronofsky's best work. I consider it to be a modern masterpiece. The most gorgeous film of our time, and Hugh Jackman is ****ing astounding in it. It's going to be one of those films that people won't really begin to appreciate for another 20 or 30 years.
The Hangover - 9.5/10. The first time in my life I started crying from laughing so hard.
I took my mom to see that movie. That was probably the most ackward last five minutes ever!

This one requires a bit of patience. But if you're willing, the payoff is more than rewarding. The movie takes a while to get kicking, and relies that for a good portion of the film the audience not know much of what's happening. Still, the build up is nothing short of brilliant. Director Mungiu fills up the first half hour with nothing but the mundane; two roomates packing, two lovers making arrangements for later, or a girl booking a hotel. But the mundane soon turns into the extraordinarily tense, and the movie does more than enough to redeem it's slow start, it justifies it. By that point, we're thrown into a harsh look at life in Romania during a tough period for two roommates. Some scenes work spectacularly. One of which is a long, drawn out (and that's precisely the point) scene at a dinner table, where the entire dialogue consists of simple discussions like how to cook potatoes. Still, it's effective in helping the audience understand the inner turmoil of the main character as she anxiously sits and awaits news of her friend, and that's what this film probably does so well. It's able to put it's audience right there with the characters, and you can't help but squirm and feel discomfort. Almost every shot in the film goes on a little longer than it should, and that's the intention, to make these emotions and situations really linger on more than they need to, and it's absolutely effective. And the ending is absolutely spot on. Great, great film.

I heard it was getting -100000000/10 across the board.
I'm guessing that those critics walked out before one of the funniest scenes in cinematic history, the scene where the megalodon attacks a jet aircraft mid flight by jumping out of the water and biting it. No, I'm not joking.
The movie was released straight to DVD this year, but if Mystery Science Theatre were still on the air it would have been a straight-to-MST3k release.
