My last was "Lenny"



Very well done Docu-Drama about the late great controversial comic who was way ahead of his time. Really interesting and character driven. Might be a little slow for some peoples taste. The performances were excellent accross the board.Dustin shines in this one for sure.

My score would probably be a 9.9 on other peoples scales...I tend to save the 9.5/10s for truely great movies. An 8.0 to me is a really good movie. When it comes to movie I'm less leinient then others. Think of a scale more attuned to IMDB.

They held a Korean Film Festival at my College, this was one of the movies they allowed us to view. Umm I know where you can get a copy, I know that downloading films are looked down upon in these parts, but if you want to know pm me, I can give you a site where you can download a copy of it.

Stark Raving Mad... I had actually never heard of it and then I noticed in Showtime's OnDemand menu... It was actually pretty good. I'd give it a 7.5/10.

8/10...Loses a point for Rosario Dawson not being a strong singer, though her acting's good. Loses another because some idiot decided to cut "Goodbye Love." The rest was wonderful.

Terrance Howard created a flawless performance. I would love to see him win the Oscar for this movie, but I think the competition is too deep. Hopefully I'm wrong. I can't forget the supporting cast who really shaped the movie. I really I enjoyed the music, and I honestly didn't think this film would be that good when I saw the previews. I really underestimated this one. A must see and a must buy if you're a DVD collector.

It was a good movie. Willis and Mos Def both gave good performances, and you could really buy into their characters. It wasn't really an edge of the seat thriller, but it was enough to keep your eyes on the screen. It was just a fun watch to me. Maybe just because I love Mos Def, but, who knows...

Against the voice of reason I saw Ultraviolet... The rating is actually N/A. It was so bad I'll rank it with the likes of Battlefield Earth and Son of the Mask... The animated outlines on everything was annoying, the straight animation sucked, and the whole movie seemed reminiscent of Equilibrium (with vampires in place of people with emotions), anyone else get that vibe (even right down to the bad guy being a vampire and the fortress-style local ). This movie almost made Bloodrayne seem good.

Female action flicks have been real busts recently (): Ultraviolet, Bloodrayne and Underworld were all terrible vampy vampire movies.

Nope, just sillouette rear...Nothing too exciting. Besides, everything has such an animated/glowing outline that it would be cartoonish anyway... If they were trying to "manga-ize" they were successful short of the creativity in some manga... Not that it says anything about the lack of quality. Whomever footed the bill should have to suffer through the movie an immeasurable amount of time.
