Re: Shia LaBeouf Confirms Indiana Jones 5
I'm only interested if Harrison Ford is involved.

Re: Shia LaBeouf Confirms Indiana Jones 5
For the love of money they will continue to ruin whats left of this franchise' credibility. The only sequel or continuation I want to see Lebeouf in is Constantine.

Re: Shia LaBeouf Confirms Indiana Jones 5
A look on the bright side...if Harrison Ford isn't in it, then it should more than likely tank (compared to the others in the series), marking the end of what was once a good movie franchise.

Re: Shia LaBeouf Confirms Indiana Jones 5
I sincerely hope there's less George Lucas involved and there has to be Harrison Ford if its an Indy movie - and it better not be as a cameo! I have no problem with Shia as an actor and thought he pulled off his sidekick role well in the last flick but lets keep him as a secondary character.
Imo the last Indiana Jones was good and definitely felt like an Indiana Jones movie...I think people are quick to overlook that the past Indiana Jones movies were pretty 'cheesey' as well - if there were internet forums then all sorts of people would be talking **** about "Short Round" from "Temple of Doom".

Re: Shia LaBeouf Confirms Indiana Jones 5
Should have went with the Frank Darabront script for Indy 4. The franchise would have been fine. Lucas is so power mad though that he nixed what everyone felt was a great script.

Re: Shia LaBeouf Confirms Indiana Jones 5
Ummmm, there is no redeeming quality to Indiana Jones 4. None. It is a hollowed-out husk of a film. Soulless even.

HB is right, they will milk this franchise until its dead. They will obviously have to move away from Indy and towards LaBeouf, so I think their best bet would be to sell it as a new Indy film, but have Labeouf as the lead and not tell anyone. See how the reaction is, and if people accept it, kill of or write out Indy as the main character in the movie following this one. Lucas will find new ways to ruin this though.

Re: Indiana Jones
The most successful movie at the box office this weekend was originally released in 1981.
